Default Convert Office 2007 trial to full version with MLK?

I have downloaded the free trial version of Office 2007 Small Business
Edition from the Microsoft website. If I purchase the Medialess Licensing Kit
(MLK), will I be able to convert the trial version into a full version by
entering the new product key?

I can't find a definitive answer to this question anywhere on the internet,
so would be grateful for a response!

I mistakenly purchased the medialess licensing kit at a local computer supply
house. I had asked for a copy of Office 2007 Professional and was given it.
When I got home I recognized that it was not what I thought, but opened it
and continued to attempt to use my newly purchased product key to convert my
trial copy over... NOPE! It won't work!

I guess that is what happens when you get too excited... I should have
returned it instead of opening it.
