i was recently in europe and i bought office 2003. when i
tried to install it at home (canada) i was shocked that
it was in Swedish. Is there a way to install an english

You can install English language support of course (actually
it's probably built in) but no, you can't change the menus
etc from Swedish to English.

Looks like you've wasted your money - you cannot change it. You should have
checked what language it was in before you bought it (the language on the
box should have been a clue - the boxes are written in the same language
that the application is in).

If you want it in English, you must *BUY* it in English.

Isn't this what
Start - Program - MS Office Tools - MS Office XP Language Settings
is all about?

It has an option "Default version of Microsoft Office".
