Does this mean you do have Publisher 2000? I honestly can't tell by your
post.

Most business cards are 3.5 x 2. In Publisher, file, page setup, special size,
business cards. When you have finished creating your design and are ready to print,
click "page options", click "custom options", input .5 top, .75 side, zero for gaps.

With Publisher 2000, I had to put 0.02 for a vertical gap. Otherwise, the
farther down the page, the more the print edged up towards the top of the
card blank.

Ed, Check how you are feeding the stock. Every standard business card I've ever come
across has these measurements. If you had to change the gap then you are not seating
your stock correctly or your printer rollers are not grabbing the stock immediately.
Do you have a lever on your printer for heavier stock?

Ed,

Using Publisher 2000 here and no problems with vertical gap. Maybe you need
an updated printer driver? Printer getting close to join the senior citizens
group?

Using an HP Deskjet 6122. I am placing a single page of card blanks on top
of the paper stack and letting the printer pick it up. The top row is
centered nicely. The following rows get a touch closer to the top each
time. Nothing's threatening to go off the edge, but I don't have anything
right on the edge, either.

Default how do i use business card paper templates to print out my car

Don, I just want to thank you for a posting you had regarding the Publisher
2000 settings to print business cards...I found it earlier today, but now I
can't find it. I just remembered your first name and that you were from
Vancouver WA..I wish I had known this forum existed a long time ago!!! I have
been having a horrible time trying to use the Avery Templates & printing out
of Word Office XP. Actually I have found some really good info on this forum
from many people. Thank You, again for saving me another headache!!!
