Need to merge almost 1000 items to labels that will wrap,
necessitating a mirrored effect of merged text. The only
way in MS OFFICE that seems to work is to create a text
box in PPT and then use "Flip - Veritcal",but we need to
be able to merge our list of items. Have searched all
office products, VB manuals, Access manuals, etc. Can't
find a solution. Not afraid to do VB, but just can't find
the appropriate commands. Any help greatly appreciated.

You could use the technique I suggested at
http://www.gmayor.com/Numbered_labels.htm to split labels and put half the
merge in each cell then rotate the adjacent cells - one left, one right, to
give a mirrored effect - you'll see what I mean
