Default Publisher Wizard "Cannot complete operation"

I have Publisher 2000 and Windows XP. Both are fully updated.

For some reason no matter which template I choose I get an error "Publisher
cannot complete operation"

I have tried Fix and repair

I have tried renaming PubWiz folder and repairing

I have tried reinstalling

I do have admin rights on my account and fault happens on any profile

Any suggestion before I get an alternative package?

Have you changed printers? Is the driver current? Is your video driver current?
Be certain you have Windows XP selected as the compatibility option.

Thank you for your response.

I have not changed printers and all drivers are current

Compatibility options are not selected (so runs in XP)

The wizard worked until recently

I know the following says Clip Organizer, but if you look at the product list,
it is valid for Publisher 2000. It very well could be your MDAC components.
You receive a "Clip Organizer Cannot Complete the Operation" error message when
you try to start Clip Organizer

You might want to try the CleanUp Utility. Read the description carefully to see
if this could be your solution. I've used it in the past; it helped clearing up
some problems I was having.
Before you start be certain you have your product number.
