How to setup a default font in Excel
I'd like to have Excel use say, Ariel 10pt as my default
font but want Word to use Times New Roman 12pt as my default font. How do I do this for each particular app? Thanks. |

How to setup a default font in Excel
In excel:
Tools|Options|General Tab|Standard Font and size. In Word: Format|Font|Font Tab There's a button "Default" at the bottom that you can click after you've changed the font to what you want. But I had trouble with that in xl97. I actually had to open my Normal.Dot (standard template for new documents). Hit ctrl-A (to select everything) Format|Font Save normal.dot Enchantnet wrote: I'd like to have Excel use say, Ariel 10pt as my default font but want Word to use Times New Roman 12pt as my default font.
