Default Multiple columns in data access pages??

Is it possible to have multiple layout columns in data access pages? I've
been using multiple columns in reports for years...comes in handy when you
have a long, skinny column of data...instead of printing on two pages, I have
it double up on one page...but I desperately want that ability in data access
pages. thanks in advance!
