Outlook 2000 - suggest names
I thought it did that automaticlly. However we are now using outlook 2002 and one user that I know of is haveing this problem. When typing in the to box of an email sometimes the name will not automaticaly apear, then when the email is sent it does not send, but when he goes to his address book and inserts the email address that way is sends. Any thoughts?

Outlook 2000 - suggest names
Outlook 2000 has no such feature. It has a feature called auto-resolution.
If you enter part of a name or a nickname then tab out of the field (or hit Alt-K [Check Names]), Outlook will attempt to resolve the name against your address book. If it can't it'll red underline it and you can right click on the name to manually resolve it. Outlook will save the resolution for future use. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Jo" wrote in message ... How do you turn on the outlook feature that will suggests names while completing the to, cc, or bcc fields? |

Outlook 2000 - suggest names
Autocompletion uses a cache of names created as you send messages, not your
Contacts data. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Nick" wrote in message ... I thought it did that automaticlly.
