Problem Office 2003 pre installed on computer
Help! Office 2003 Basic came pre installed on my
computer. I am still running Office 2000 Small Business Edition with Access 2000 added later. I keep getting a Visual Basic Error when I try to work in my Office 2000 SBE. I thought I had the Office 2003 removed or disabled from the computer. When I click OK after I get the error notice then I can go ahead and work. How can I get rid of this problem. My computer is HP Pavilion and I did not get a CD it is installed in a hidden part of the hard drive. |

Problem Office 2003 pre installed on computer
Lee Ann,
Did you remove the trial version of Office 2003 from Add / Remove Programs? There may be some files remaining on your machine. Look at this article: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;290301 It may help you remove any remaining files from the Office 2003 version. If you modified any of your files in Office 2003 and are trying to access / modify them thru Office 2000, this also may be a source of your problem. If you use the cleanup utility, be sure to backup any relative / pertinent files before use. Also you should contact your system mfg and request / demand all cd's for software installed on your computer. -- use the Office Online web based newsreader he http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx In Office System 2003 applications: Help/Assistance Pane/open Communities "Lee Ann" wrote: Help!
