Default Send list of contacts...best way?

I have a contact list for our neighborhood association. It's in a separate
contact list from my personal contacts. I'm shedding the responsibility of
maintaining the list to another neighbor. What's the best way to give her
all of the contact information? If I send her my .pst file, doesn't she get
my personal contacts, too? I don't want that. Should I export the contacts
and send her a file? That's the direction I'm headed...any comments?

Outlook has no "Contacts lists". Do you mean a Contacts folder or a
DIstribution List?

Steve, you can simply create a new pst-file ("File", "New",
"Outlook-Data File..."). To find the file easily to attach to your
email, create it on "C:\".

Please pay attention of the file type if your recipient is not using
Outlook 2003. You can also set a password to care for a little security
for sending it over the net (encryption would be the better way, look
for example for AxCrypt).

Copy your data (contacts and/or distlists) to this folder by drag &
drop (hold the CTRL-Key down when dropping).

If this is done, right click to the pst-file in the navigation pane
and choose "Close". After that you have close Outlook too, because
otherwise you cant send the file as attachment while it is still opened
(this is a Outlook feature :-)).

If your reciepient got this file he/she can open it by "File", "Open",
"Outlook-Data File" after saving it to disk.

Best Regards
Peter

My preferred method for sending this list of contacts would be to export them to a tab-delimited file for the next person to decide where to put this information, especially if the new user does not have Outlook, but Outlook Express.

They can import this file into their OE or any other mail program that they use. .pst files are specific to Outlook and cannot be opened by any other program.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Steve asked:
