UNWANTED BLANK PAGES PRINTING
William wrote:
First, Mary, thanks for sticking with this thread. It is much appreciated. The printers do print duplex. I went back to the booklet I printed a coupld of days ago to be sure - it prints exactly as designed and expected. The settings selected in the printer driver are saved with the file; presumably the earlier documents were set up to print duplex. Go to File Print Properties and ensure that the Duplex option is selected. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://ed.mvps.org |

UNWANTED BLANK PAGES PRINTING
Thanks for your help!
-- William "Ed Bennett" wrote: William wrote: Here is another clue. I just created a very simple document with all the page setup properties listed above. In the document are only page numbers (1-4). I was expecting a single sheet of paper printed on both sides (1 and 4 on one side, and 2 and 3 on the other). Instead, I get two sheets of paper (1 and 4 on one side and blank on the other, and 2 and 3 on the one side and blank on the other). Publisher cannot control your printer settings. Printing on both sides of a sheet of paper is a function of your printer. You either need to tell your printer to print on both sides of the page, or to manually flip the paper over to allow the printer to print the other side. -- Ed Bennett - MVP Microsoft Publisher http://ed.mvps.org |
