In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | Measurement units: Inches
| OK. Or if the "metric" measurements are actually character units (ch), then see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=299339 "You cannot change ruler measurement unit from character units after upgrade to Office XP". bob wrote: Somehow I can not figure out how to change Page Setup "under Margins" from Metric to Imperial. These are not metric units - but character units; and it changed because of
a minor bug, probably related to the application's ability to use far eastern languages. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Bob wrote: You have saved me from pulling out more of my hair.
