Substitute user message for system error or warning
There are often times when I would like to issue my own error message in
place of a system generated error message. A good example would be when a message appears that indicates a referential integrity violation or cascading delete warning. I would like to customize these error messages and warnings for my user. Is it possible to do this? Thanks, Gerry Goldberg |

If you feel you must post the same question to more than one newsgroup (and it's seldom necessary), crosspost by adding each additional newsgroup in the To Newsgroups: box, separated by a comma. This way an answer in one newsgroup will be seen in each of the others. More readers will see the response and learn, and less time will be spent on duplicate answers. See Netiquette at http://www.mvps.org/access It's a great site to visit anyway. -- Fred Please respond only to this newsgroup. I do not reply to personal e-mail |

I use message boxes. You can code them to pop up for whatever event you like.
