hi:
this is probably a simple ques, but I can't find a solution. Helping someone with multiple contacts (i.e. under contacts is contacts1, contacts2, contacts3 etc.) How can I change the view so all the contacts listed under the multiple contacts can display under main contacts window? Using Outlook 2003 Thanks kindly |

How to Display Multiple Contacts
It would be difficult to create a more opaque question.
"multiple contacts?" Define that term. Change which view? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "BCITStudent" wrote in message ... hi: this is probably a simple ques, but I can't find a solution. How to Display Multiple Contacts
you can't view them in one view if they are in separate folders. Why not
assign categories to the contacts instead and use custom views to show or hide them as needed? This will allow you to see all in one folder. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Access this newsgroup directly by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx "BCITStudent" wrote in message ... hi: this is probably a simple ques, but I can't find a solution. How to Display Multiple Contacts
I'll assume you have Outlook 2003 or 2007. Please post your version!!!
I think you have Contacts sub-folders and want the data in the primary Contacts folder. If that is the case do this: In the bottom left corner of Outlook, (in the Navigation Pane) click and show the Folder List. Stay in the Folder List and click the Contacts button below the calendar. Select all Contacts in the sub-folder and drag to the primary Contacts folder. Release. Reapeat with the COntacts from the other sub-folders. Now right click the subfolders and delete them. One at a time. Please let me know if that fixed your problem as I guessing what your problem is from your description!
