Numbering in Access
In Access 2003, I could insert a number field, start to enter a number, and
it would automatically insert the next number sequentially when I pressed the down arrow. It doesn't do that in Access 2007. Does anyone know how to make that work in the new version? |

Numbering in Access
Actually, the behaviour you're describing was generally regarded as a bug,
because it made no sense to have that functionality in a relational database. Most of us were happy that they fixed the bug! Sorry, you'd have to write code to reproduce that behaviour in a form (and there's no way to get it in a table) -- Doug Steele, Microsoft Access MVP http://www.AccessMVP.com/DJSteele (no e-mails, please!)
