Boolean search - Categories
I am trying to do a Boolean search in Categories, Filter, More Choices.
The AND operator works, the OR operator works, but the NOT operator is not working for me. I need to use the NOT operator-- does anyone know anything about this? (In Advanced, you can use the "doesn't contain" command, but that doesn't do what I need it to do- -it's not the same as saying-- this, but NOT this) The environment is Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003 Thanks, Jack |

Boolean search - Categories
Jack,
I don't have an answer but rather a question. I want to do a boolean search categories - filter - more choices - and I want only my contacts that have both categories. When I select both - I get all contacts with either rather than only contacts with both. I have tried boolean "and" then + but no luck. How are you entering a boolean search/filter at all? Boolean search - Categories
Please search the following registry key:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\ Outlook" Click with the right mouse button on "Outlook" and choose "New", "Key". Type "QueryBuilder" and close the registry. After that you will find in Outlook an additional register in the advanced find named "QueryBuilder". With that you can do a boolean search.
