Default How to add a check mark in a drop down menu.

I have a Word form that is protected and I have drop-down menus in each
field. I need a check mark and when I copy the check mark and past it, it
shows up as a box. How do I get a check mark?

See http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/add_check_boxes.htm and
http://www.addbalance.com/word/downl...#CheckboxAddIn for
several different ways to make checkboxes.
