Default How do I update Access?

1 - How do I find what release and patch level I'm at? (Why did they drop
HELP/ABOUT?) I know I'm on 2007, but sometimes I go to other computers and
then I don't know/am not sure.
2 - Do Access updates come with Windows automatic updates?
3 - If not, where do I find Access updates, and is it easy to tell which
ones you need to install?

Default How do I update Access?

To find your current version

In versions of Access prior to Access 2007, use the Help: About menu item

In Access 2007,
click on the Office Button
Click on the Access Options Button
Click on Resources
Click on the About button

(See how much simpler 2007 is)

Access updates come with Office Updates not Windows updates

You can find them updates at Microsoft.com

Default How do I update Access?

I have gotten Office updated to MSO (12.0.6425.1000)
Access to (12.0.6423.1000) SP2

Is that the latest for 2007? I wasn't able to find specific Access updates
on www.windowsupdate.com. It took me to microsoft.com. There putting in
Access Version in search just gave me stuff about major version comparisons.

In other words, did my Office update actually do the job? I have some
question because my company controls which updates I get automatically, and
Access is not one of our development tools.
