Default Upsidedown embedded object in PPT 2003

Ok, I have a couple of powerpoint slides that have
embedded objects from excel. When opening the files in
Powerpoint 2003, some of the embedded objects from excel
show upside down. When double clicking/opening the
objects they appear fine though in excel 2003. Running
Office 2003 SP 1. I'm not sure which version of Office
the slides were created in. Any assistance is
appreciated. Thanks.

Gus,

Save a copy of something else, then look here for a corrective fix for
flipping images. The reason I say do this on a copy is I thought it was an
issue for PowerPoint XP and not 2003. So, the problem may have started there
and transferred to your current version.

Now, if this fixes it, please holler back.

Hi Mark,

It's because it's really a thumbnail of your excel object, but I can't
remember what causes images to appear upside down and now I can't find it
either. I'm hoping one of the other MVPs have a better memory and will chime
in...

Thanks for helping. Though the slight problem is I don't
have any other versions of office installed, but I did
figure a fix out for it though. Found if I copied the
upside down portion and pasted into a new word doco, it
would show correctly. Then copy it from the word doco
back to the presentation, and it's fine. Thanks again.
