Will Office XP wipe my Office 2000 Folders and emails?
Im about to Install OFFICE XP on to my Laptop...
But im currently using OFFICE 2000, and use OUTLOOK 2000 a lot... for personal and business use... i have over 75 Folders and also 4735 Emails... I am "Concerned" if i Install OFFICE XP, will it Wipe my OUTLOOK 2000 Folders and Emails? I want to use Outlook XP, but dont want to lose my Folders & Emails Can anyone Advise me what to do?? Cheers Gary It shouldn't result in lost data, but you should back up your PST file elsewhere first. If you don't know where it is, find it by searching for *.pst on your hard drive(s), including hidden/system folders in your search if using Win2k/XP. With Outlook closed, copy the .pst file wherever you like for safekeeping. |
