Did OE6 toolbar icons change?
Do not know if it is my imagination or not, but it seems to me that the
toolbar icons in IE have changed and are not the ones I seem to remember. I've been playing with some other email and newsreaders for a while and am there not sure, but it sure seems as if they are not the familiar OE6 toolbar icons I recall. Has there been a recent change? -- Jeff Williams |

There hasn't been any changes. But if you created a new identity, or joined
up with a new news server, you will se the default buttons. View | Layout | Customize Toolbar and just add and remove buttons as you wish. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Jeff" wrote in message ... IE7 is on Automatic Windows Update, so maybe that is where you see the change? |

OK, I just needed to be clear on that :-) As Bruce posted there have not been any changes to the Icons in OE6. Their is a bug that stretches the Icons during a mail session, if it is not that one, then explore the Customize toolbar options to see if you can get it back to what you remember it to be? |

I'll work it out. It's just my senility creaping up :-( I know it is not right to change the content of a thread but since I have an expert's ear maybe you can help me with this. I use OE6 with OE-QuoteFix. I understand that in newsgroups one must bottom post. Trouble is that I need to top post in emails and bottom post in newsgroups. Means a lot of copy pasting for me no matter which way I set OE-QuoteFix. Is there an easier way to get top posts and signatures in emails and bottom post and signatures in newsgroup messages? Thanks. -- Jeff Williams |

Not perfect, but I believe your OEQF settings are global. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ |

Did OE6 toolbar icons change? Examples!
I was not crazy.
Here are the examples of the changed toolbar icons. original icons http://www.orthohelp.com/examples/oe...20original.jpg changed icons http://www.orthohelp.com/examples/oe%20toolbar.jpg The changes occur if I open another mail or news reader while OE6 is open. They dissappear when I close the other reader and close and reopen OE6. Really wierd! -- Jeff Williams Jeff wrote: Do not know if it is my imagination or not, but it seems to me that the toolbar icons in IE have changed and are not the ones I seem to remember.
