Default What command allows the last slide in show to remain on?

How can I keep the last slide in a pp show to remain on until I decide when
to exit?

My current show is a strobe of 189 slides of a construction project, and I
want the final slide remain on without flipping to the "end of show" screen.

View the last slide in Normal View. Go to Transitions (Slide Show--
transitions in 2003 or earlier, Animations tab in 2007). Set the
"Automatically After" time to a very large number. Do not click apply to
all. It will apply to the current slide automatically.

Does that do what you need?

I believe life is meant to be lived. But:
if we live without making a difference, it makes no difference that we lived
