Default Linked table manager

Can anyone explain why my Linked table manager would not be working when I
have some tables that are linked to other databases. I cannot see which one
they are linked to nor can I update them, If I move my database.
Thanks this has just started it has worked beautifully before.

What do you mean by 'it's not working'?
Is the option grayed out?
Try deleting the tables and relinking them.

No they are not greyed out the manager is blank when I bring it up while
highlighting the table. The table shows the link arrow but I cannot get a
reading in the manager.

Can you open the linked tables?

Are you selecting Tools--Database Utilities--Linked table manager.

If you see no links there, I'd try deleting the links and recreating them

That's what I am doing, and I have tried doing that but they still don't
show? I must have something turned off but I can't figure out what.

FWIW - I have the same problem on four different computers. The linked
tables work properly from the Database window. The Tools Database
Utilities Linked Table Manager is launched correctly, but *no*
tables appear in its list. This is under Windows 2000, XP Home, or XP
Pro running Access 2002 or 2003 in various combinations. I don't know
whether there's a connection, but each of these computers also has
Access 97, in which the Linked Table Manager works properly.

I work around it by a) using a programmatic relinking routine or b)
delete the tables and relink them manually.

I am also running Windows XP Pro and Access 2003, I don't have the luxury of
the access 97 though. I wonder what the flaw is?. The links are working
fine, just not the ability to change or update them with a broad swoop.

Re-register accwiz.dll (the one located in the same folder where Access 2003
is installed)
