Is there an Access version for Mac? How compatible is it with mdb.
I'm an experienced Access programmer but I've never had to create a database
to bridge between two different OS's. Is there a Mac version of MS Access and is it relatively simple to convert mdb's back and forth? I could probably do this using ODBC or a web page interface, but it needs to be simple since the other site is far away (Hawaii) and the people are not terribly computer savvy. Any ideas? |

If you want to stick with Access you'll need to develop a web browser interface. Otherwise, you might like to check out 4th Dimension (http://www.4d.com/) which comes in Windows and Mac versions. It's conceptually reasonably similar to Access (much more so than FileMaker).
