Default Data Access Page

I need to send our database to the intranet and want to make sure that DAP's
are the correct way to do this. Are DAP's intereactive? Will users be
allowed to input data this way? Is there anything special I need to do in
the creation of the DAP's?

Also, in the future, would like to have a portion of the database available
to dealers nationwide on a secure website. Would these DAP's work for this?
i.e. interactive, allowed to input data, etc.

TIA
