Default Problem sorting contacts

My contacts are sorted by categories(which I created) and then each category
is sorted by company name and then by the contacts full name. Everything
works fine except when the contacts are sorted by full name they are not
sorting all the names.

Clarify what you mean. You cannot even sort by Category. You can only group
by Category. Also, always include your version and view when you post a
question like this.

Default Problem sorting contacts

Thanks. Outlook 2002 SP3. I have my contacts grouped by categories i.e.
business, personal, etc. Then I have each category sorted by company name
(ascending order) and then by full name (ascending). I noticed that the full
name sort has listed them in alphabetical order but they are in two lists.
One list of names is listed in alpha order but at the last name (the z) there
is another list of names beginning with a. It is not repeating any names.
Hope this helps.

You still never told us to what view you are referring. Examine the Full
Name field in the Contact Records that you think are not sorting correctly
and see if its names elements are parsed correctly and contain no spaces at
the beginning of the entry.
