Publisher uses the fonts in the Windows/Font folder. The easiest way is to
drag the new font into the Font folder.

First, locate the new font file; remember where it is located.

Second, go to

C:\Windows\Fonts

Now you are looking at all the fonts on your computer.

Next, go to File, Install new font

Window pops open; go to where the new font file is located and select it and
click ok

Done.

Default install a font into Publisher

Hello Don
Although I have not quite used this method for installing fonts (I have just
used copy/paste), the way I read it was that you could right-click on it and
have install as an option there. Thanks anyway.

Hello Mary
I am afraid Vista is not an option just yet.

Maybe a right click option could be added. Are you in the know to be able to
do it?

If I have no more posts this year, may I be the first to say that I hope you
all have a very merry Christmas.

Default Install a new fonts into publisher

I'll try this again:

Open the Windows Font folder;

C:\Windows\Fonts\

Open the Fonts folder and open the folder where the new font is located.

With your mouse, click/hold and drag the font file to the Fonts folder.
