Default Audio is cut off

I have created a PowerPoint presentation but when I view it, about 1-2
seconds of every audio file is cut off. This only happens during the slide
show. The full audio files plays in normal edit view.

Is there a setting to adjust this??

Default Audio is cut off

Are you using automatic slide advance timings. You may only need to lengthen
the time in the Slide Transition.

or

Is this what's happening?... http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00047.htm

Default For now try WAV format...

I have the same problem with MP3 files in PowerPoint 2007 - I've converted the audio files to WAV, and they work fine. Yes, the end file size is larger, but it works.

You may want to give it a try.

PS - I have seen some conversion tools that "trick" PowerPoint into handling an MP3 as a WAV if your filesize is an issue.
