Default .wav file

I inserted a .wav sound clip from MS clips-on-line. As long as I was
developing my presentation, it worked fine. When I reopen after closing the
PPT, there is no sound. The sound icon is there, and I see it in the custom
animation bar, but it will not play. I copied & pasted from the MS Clips
site. What did I do wrong?

Default .wav file

PowerPoint will embed .wav files (the only audio file format embedable), but
the default setting is for files that are less than 100k. You can increase
this setting to 50MB (50,000k) - here is how:
