Check your printer driver, might need updating.
More information would be helpful. Version of Publisher comes to mind...

Dear Mary, Thank you for the advise. The version is 2003 that came installed
on the computer. I do not know how to update the printer driver yet, but when
I go to work and figure it out, I will let you know if this fixed the
problem. Thanks again.

I tried downloading the printer drivers and the same thing happened.

Well, just downloading them isn't going to do anything - you have to
*INSTALL* them, y'know!
