It is the same for all versions. Much, much more friendly in 2002 and 03.

Thanks a lot for your help Mary. That worked with
Publisher 98. Is there a solution for versions of
Publisher newer than 2000? If possible, I would rather
use XP or 2003. If not, I can just use Publisher 98.

Set the printer up first to 11x17 portrait. The

following is for Publisher 2000 and
below. In the page setup select special size, postcard.

Create your postcard and
merge area. When you go to print, in the print dialogue,

click page options, custom
options, set the margins and gaps to zero. Keep in mind

your printer margins when you
create your postcard design.

Hi Mary. I had tried to do this in both 2002 and 2003 before, but it only allowed me to print 6 up. My question was if it would be possible to print 8 up on these newer versions of publisher. Following your directions, I can only get it to work in Publisher 98.

Setup your printer to 11x17. In Page setup, select custom, input 5" wide, 4.25 high,
portrait, change "copies per sheet", set all the gaps to zero. You will have 8
postcards.
