"Control can't be edited..." in sub-form
I have asked about this in another thread but have decided to repost to give
my problem more exposure. I am trying to create a combo box in a sub-form and have been referred to this web page regarding this matter but I haven't got very far. http://www.mvps.org/access/forms/frm0031.htm My main form is called "employee", the name of the subform is called "dept" and the control source for the combo box is also called "dept". At the moment I have the following in the controlsource: =Me!dept.Form!dept Is there something I should know? |

"Control can't be edited..." in sub-form
Somehow, I can now select an option in the sub-form (though I'm not sure what
I've done!) but I now have the message: "The object doesn't contain the automation object 'Week'. You tried to run a visual basic procedure to set a property or method for an object. However, the component doesn't make the property or method available for automation operations". I have read in another thread about using other applications. I am not doing this. I am not running any visual basic procedures either. 'week' is a text-box in another sub-form. Any ideas? thanks! IGNORE THIS THREAD
It seems I've now sorted it all out. "scubadiver" wrote: I have asked about this in another thread but have decided to repost to give my problem more exposure.
