Opening Access, every time it has to configure - Why?
I recently had to do a non-destructive restore. When I re-installed Office,
there seems to be something wrong with Access. Every time I open it, to dialog box comes up telling me it has to configure Access. Once in, I have deleted an entry form from a file and made changes to the table. When I try to create a form using the wizard, it will not do anything. This is very irritating. Does anyone know what is going on with my Access? |

You're going to hate me for saying this, but have you tried reinstalling
Access? You mentioned you reinstalled Office, but certain versions of Office don't contain Access. Perhaps you should uninstall and reinstall Access. See if that works, otherwise I have no idea (that's some hands-on troubleshooting there) "kirkrankin" wrote: I recently had to do a non-destructive restore. Thank you for the note Micah. The version of Office I have is Office XP
Prof. It does contain Access. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times now. Every program in Office performs properly except Access. Once it is open, I have to minimize Access in order for my Access files to open correctly. However, I still cannot create a form from the wizard. I appreciate your time. Maybe someone else can help!
