Default Report Selector Form Disappears

In my program (.mde) I have a form "Report Selector" which allows users to
use two drop down lists to select first the type report (Daily Accounting,
Monthly Accounting, Lookups, etc) and then the specific report from a list of
reports in that type. It has been working for about 9 years; suddenly 2
users report that when they click on the Report Selector button, nothing
happens. One supplied me with a "Snag-it" that showed that the first
drop-down list appeared but none of the RS form. That tells me it at least
got into the On Open routine. I have supplied both users with back-level
copies of the program, and the RS works again for them. There is a routine
to close the RS if a user isn't qualified (security level) to view a
requested report, but both of these users are qualified. I'm trying to
arrange to have one of the users use an .mdb copy of the program to institute
a trace in her environment, but don't know how long that will take.

Does anyone have any idea as to what else I can pursue or look for?
