Default how do i merge two sets of contacts

Hi all

To preface in am not the most computer savvy, however when i got my new
computer and shifted contacts folder i had two folders namd "contacts" and
"contacts(backup)" contacts was empty and I used the "backup" file as
primary. Last night I purchased a much needed PDA phone active sync put my
existing numbers (from phone) into the "contacts" file and wont sync my
"backup" I think the easy fix is to merge the two sets into one file
"contacts". Im sure the fix is simple but I cant seem to figure it out.

Thanks
Rusty

Open one, select all the items in it with CTRL-A, then either drag-and-drop
to the other or click EditCopy to Folder, specifying the second as the
destination.
