Default records in forms`

actually, this is whats goin on, i have many list boxes, like five on a form,
when a new record comes up, i want all of the lists to stop out at the top
choice, instead of starting on the selection i made on the list in the
previous form, for example i have a month and year list boxes, if im on
recored number one, and i select january, and then select 2005, when i go to
the next record(2) the list has already selected january and 2005, and i want
the list to start out at the top of the choices. i think that better
explains it, sorry. and thx for your time.

If a listbox is bound to a database field, Access will always select
the entry corresponding to the current value of that field. For
example, if the database field has a value of 2003, Access will select
the entry for 2003. This is how a listbox should work. It would not be
logical for the listbox to say 2005, for example, if the value of the
field to which it was bound, was actually 2003.

Conversely, if the listbox is /not/ bound to a field, Access will
always select the "top" entry, IIRC.

Not sure how this is relevant to designing table structures! (the
topoic of this group)

TC
