Default How do I make values from a table show up in a drop down list on .

I'm new at using Access. I have created a table. This table contains data.
One of the data fields is called Area. I have created a form for data entry
into the table. On the form I have created a drop down box from which I want
to choose a value to be placed in the Area field.
However, I cannot figure out how to make the drop down box contain more than
one value. I tried a combo box as well as a list box and still am having no
luck.
Can someone tell me step-by-step how to accomplish this?

Go to the recordsource and select the table containing area.
Then select the field Area.

When you say "Go to the recordsource", I don't know what you mean. In the
form I can click on properties for the drop down box I created and click on
Control Source but there is nothing called record source.

select your combobox, go to the properties, select the all tab, the second
option is control source, the sixth option is "row source type" set this to
table / query. the seventh one down in control source. If you put your
mouse in this then you will see two options to your right. one is a square
with 3 dots in it. Click this button. then select your table that contains
the area. Select the area and this will appear down at the bottom.
