Can an If statement return a formula for false?
Help... =IF(I3="Closed","Closed",D3-$D$1) Column I = Open or Closed D1 = =TODAY() The rest of column D = =DATE(YEAR(C3),MONTH(C3)+6,DAY(C3)) Can you return a formula in an IF statement as i get a circular ref Thanks Andy -- mellors |

No, you can't "return" a formula in an If statement. You can certainly have
whatever formulas you want in the statement. You need to explain more clearly what you are trying to do. Where is your If statement? What's in C3? What result do you want?
