DON'T SHOUT!!
Word is expected to provide the formatting, so you can do this with switches on the fields - see http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm for the date the switch would be \@ "MMMM d, yyyy" for the currency \# ",$0.00" -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org DREMA wrote: I HAVE WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION 7.0 WHEN I MAIL MERGE FROM MY DATABASE INTO A WORD PROCESSOR DOCUMENT IT CHANGES THE FORMAT ON THE DATE AND NUMBER.
