Unexpected switchboard shutdown
I have designed and secured a database in Access for a client. I did the
design on my Dell computer. I burnt the program, workgroup etc to a CD and put the program on the client's computer. The computer is part of a network but for the moment the .mdb and .mdw and are in a special folder in the user's My Documents. On my computer I can go from switchboard to switchboard by clicking on the switchboard items. When I close a switchboard by clicking on the small X in the upper right hand corner, I see the previous switchboard. On my client's computer, however, if I go from the Main Switchboard to another switchboard and then click on the X to go back to the previous switchboard, the switchboard closes down and I must open the database again. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there any way to identify what is happening and prevent it - some code perhaps? Thank you for any insight provided. Mary |
