Default date shortcut format

Hello - When I use the date entry shortcut (CTRL + , the
current date will appear but the year shows as 2020. I've
checked the system date and it's correct. Can you help me
straighten this out? Thanx!

Very strange.

What is in the Format property of this text box (in form design view),
or field (in table design view)?

How is your Short Date defined in the Windows Control Panel (under Regional
Settings)?

Which version of Access is this?

Is there any macro named "AutoKeys" in your database?

Thank you for your suggestions Allen Browne. The date
settings on my control panel were all wrong and that's
what was causing that strange date thing. It's all fixed
now and it works like a charm! Thanks again!
