Default Special Effect on Individual Controls

Can't seem to apply a special effect, e.g. "raised Command button" to
individual items on a form. The special effect option button is disabled
unless I select all on the form. All includes command buttons, label, text
boxes,.. just want to apply to command buttons.

Looked in Help, no luck. Any ideas?

Jeanne,
Those controls are probably "grouped" together.
To ungroup...
In form design view, select the controls that you want to "ungroup",
click on
the "Arrange" tab, then click on "Remove" button.
You should now be able to "raise" a single control.
