How do I make a macro global... i.e. what is the global template for excel
I have written a vb sub to add the path of an excel
document to the header/footer of the document, and would like to add it to the workbook.xlt?? template or whatever the name of the global template is so that it will be available to me everytime I open a new document. What is the equivalent of normal.dot for excel? or... is that even how i should go about doing that? Thanks!!! =) Deb |

Book.xlt, and it is stored in the XLStart directory.
It might be better to put it in Personal.xls, also in XLStart, as it will only need to be in one workbook then. -- HTH Bob Phillips ... looking out across Poole Harbour to the Purbecks (remove nothere from the email address if mailing direct) "deb" wrote in message ...
