Default How on my webpage can go straight to Slide Show View

Thanks to Luc Sanders for earlier help about saving as pps file.

Now to my main problem.

I can get my PowerPoint presentation into my FrontPage website OK. On the
home page of the website there is a hyperlink to the slide show. All that is
fine so far.

But what I really want to do is have the Power Point presentation open
immediately in slide show view as I click the hyperlink on my home page.

Note this is different from full screen in the browser.

Currently when I'm taken to the web version of the slide show I have to
click the "slide show" button first - then I get the slide show view I want
to go to straight away.

Then, once in slide show view, if I press the esc key I get all the
PowerPoint controls back, inside the "normal" browser window, which is more
than OK, its what I want at that point - i.e. (a) I don't want to lose my
powerpoint controls by checking/unchecking certain web options as I'm saving
the slide show as a web page, and (b) I want to keep the "normal" browser
view once I escape from the show.

Any ideas/help you can provide would be received gratefully.

Because you neglected to provide your PowerPoint version, here are a couple of
options

Make PowerPoint 2000 HTML open full screen
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00148.htm

Making PowerPoint 2002 (XP) HTML open full screen
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00428.htm

Sounds won't play across multiple slides on the web

Peter,

By and large, you don't have much control over what happens to documents when a
visitor to your site clicks a link to them. It's up to the visitor (or their
IT department) and the browser settings on their computer.

This is even more true (and probably even more frustrating) for PPT documents.
You might be better off posting the show as a set of HTML files.
