If your file has multiple masters, go to View/Normal (do this twice) then View/Master/Slide Master. Drag the master with the picture bullets so it's first in the list of masters. This might cause problems with the other slide masters (most likely, the one that used to be first), though. -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com |

I have only a single slide master. It uses the picture bullets.

when I save and reopen a PPT2003 file. How do I keep the bullets from changing? Has your template been created in an older version of PowerPoint? I once had a similar problem. When I started from scratch (i.e. Blank.pot) in PPT 2003, the bullet points behaved as they should. Not a clue, then. I suspect Ute's on to something in her response, though.
