Default Error in access Form - "You can't use find or replace now"

Hello, I have a form that is used to enter records and edit existing records.
However, when a user clicks on "find record" button to search for a record
(that
is in the table already) they are getting the error: "You can't use find or
replace now"
the code for the "find record" button is this:
Private Sub cmdFind_Click()
On Error GoTo Err_cmdFind_Click
Screen.PreviousControl.SetFocus
DoCmd.DoMenuItem acFormBar, acEditMenu, 10, , acMenuVer70
Exit_cmdFind_Click:
Exit Sub
Err_cmdFind_Click:
MsgBox Err.Description
Resume Exit_cmdFind_Click
End Sub

Can anyone please help with this?
thank you
