Uninstall Update
I need to send a file to a user of Microsoft Office 2003 but it is on
Microsoft Office 2007. The user cannot access this because it is on a program too modern. How can I uninstall the update so that the user can access my files? Is it possible that I can keep both Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007? |

Uninstall Update
Although you can run Word 2003 and 2007 side by side, this is not necessary.
Just use Office Button | Save As to save your file in Word 97-2003 format. If you have used any of the new features in Word 2007 that are not backward-compatible, there may be some changes in the document, but for the most part the appearance will be preserved (some graphics may not be editable). Alternatively, you might suggest that the recipient download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en. In addition to allowing the user to open Word 2007 documents, this will install the new "C" fonts included in Office 2007. -- Suzanne S.
