Default Import/copy individual email addresses within global Distribution List Membership group to another?

Hello, is there a way to bulk extract the individual email addresses from an
existing Distribution List Membership group and import/copy them into
another new slightly different group instead of having to go in manually
one-by-one when adding/assigning members in the 'Modify Members' section?
Thanks in advance.

R click and drag the DL to a new location. If you want it in the same
location, just rename it.

Yes. Is it an outlook DL or a GAL DL?

You can get a list of members by forwarding an Outlook DL as a vcard.

To get the gal list, add it to a message, expand it and copy the names.
Paste in a message, notepad, where ever and edit. Outlook will correctly
resolve the names.

Thanks all for the responses so far, much appreciated. But our new DL needs
each of their individual email addresses to start off with which as in time
individual members would then need to be added/removed so having the other
whole group DL in there won't give us granularity. I've also tried
copying/pasting and then expanding them but it just pastes their names and
not their individual email addresses which I need to put the bulk of these
into the new DL, so still researching this.

Sorry Diane, I noticed your vcard link mentions Outlook 2007 as I have only
Outlook 2003. And ours looks to be a GAL DL.

When you paste the names in the new DL (and actually add them to the DL),
outlook will resolve them to the addresses in the GAL.

Still searching around for my situation here, I am familiar with vba code so
if someone perhaps could point me to some sample code that would be helpful
also.

Default Import/copy individual email addresses within global Distribution List Membership group to another?

I ended up adding those individual members manually since it was only under
200 members and was spending more time researching than adding them. I did
try to initially paste them like your video clip demonstrates Diane but the
paste option was disabled and kept giving me that beep of not allowing me
and not sure if it was because ours is an existing G.A.L. and technically
not a create new D.L like the video showed. But certainly would look into
that again if like thousands or millions of members needed to be ported
over next time, thanks all for the help, much appreciated. Cheers :-)
