won't let me enter names in new Distribution list -
I'm trying to set up a new Distribution list in Outlook, and it won't let me
enter certain contacts (that were imported) to the list. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks |

Not really. You haven't told us what you are doing accurately, or what
happens in any detail. Imported Contacts are often corrupt if you haven't taken care to make sure their electronic addresses are accurate and resolved. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "McTheny" wrote in message ... Never mind - it was the display name - would not work if the display name
includes an email address - I removed the email address from the contacts to be included in the dist. list and it works fine. Thanks "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Not really. Doubtful. The Email Display As field contains the email address by default
and that does not prevent the use of a Contact in a DL. Far more likely that your email address was not resolved and that simply editing the Contact Record fixed the problem. Avoid importing Contacts whenever possible. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "McTheny" wrote in message ...
