Blocked features in Publisher '07 Free Trial?
I am trying to begin a booklet project with the free trial, but it appears
certain functionalities are "grayed out" and unavailable to me in the menus. Can anyone direct me to a list of what features are unavailable in the trial version? Thanks in advance. -- -Ali |

There shouldn't be any features unavailable. Try setting up the booklet through
the advanced page setup. File, Page setup, Advanced on the right. What features are unavailable to you? -- Mary Sauer http://msauer.mvps.org/ "ali" wrote in message ... Depending on how long the trial has been installed it may have gone into reduced function mode. In other words it is just a Publisher reader now. If you just installed this product but have had any other Office trial software installed previously then the trial may not be useable as it seems that you can only have one Office 2007 trial activation no matter what version of Office you had even if it didn't have Publisher as part of the trial originally. While not recommended for a production machine you may be able to download Office 2010 beta and use that Publisher version. Uninstall all previous trial versions of Publisher. Do a custom install and install only the Publisher software. Do not allow the software to overwrite any other versions of Office programs on the computer. That way when the beta expires you won't have issues removing it. Large download so you need a broadband connection: http://us1.office2010beta.microsoft....?culture=en-US and download the Professional version. This is a streaming download so if you want to download and install onto more than one machine go to: http://www.microsoft.com/office/2010...s/default.aspx and download Pro Plus. |
